Comrade Tambo's London Recruits

In 1962 Oliver Tambo, Deputy President of the ANC then living in exile in London, was tasked with building support for opposition to apartheid. An international group of workers and students answered his call for undercover agents. The film blends archive footage and reconstruction, introducing contemporary testimony from the recruits, looking back to when they undertook their missions. This is the story of the Londoners recruited to be freedom fighters.DocumentaryPT1H44M12A
